Problem With Subtitles

Post by ge120497mj »

Ive been noticing alot of subtitles have been missing or duplicated
this can be for 25 Episodes or 10 Episodes
there is always subs missing
i do not want to encode the subs onto the video
ive seen older versions are better with subs
its a shame because this is such a great software

Have you tried different subtitle format than ASS?
Those are made for computer and very often contain special characters etc. that BR player can't handle.

Test by converting those ASS subtitles to SRT and check the output.

It's a problem in the subtitle engine in the software.
I already reported this bug several years ago.
According to Jaques the subtitles must me separated 0.8 seconds.
This problem wille be adressed in the upcoming new version of ConvertXto...

Again according to Jaques...
To solve this problem the subtitle engine in the software has to be rewritten.
He didn't want to do that for the current version, but will adress the problem for the upcomming x64 version.
