Error while encoding file: 00000.m2ts

Does anyone know how to fix this error? I get this error before the conversion process even begin. Below are the logs, I tried this with two different video files. I was able to convert these files fine when using convertxtoHD on a different computer, I don't know why it's not working with this computer.

I am not sure, you could try with the latest beta version

I thought it could be a difference whether you are using hardware encoding or decoding. are these settings different on your other computer? Have you tried with them both off and on?

The file name has the charachter "!" what if you changed the filename to something more basic before loading it in to CXHD and converting it?

Can you play the file in the preview window of CXHD on the computer it doesn't convert in?

I've tried burning the same videos on the other computer and they converted perfectly. I was able to review the videos before clicking convert, but gets the error and freeze after clicking convert.

I've checked the 3 settings (clean registry, delete installation and cache files) during installation and unchecked hardware encoding/decoding. The same error " Error while encoding file: 00000.m2ts" still occurs (1st log below) with the beta version.

If I checked "hardware encoding/decoding/allow more than one decoder" , the file will begin to convert, but will always fail at the end of the conversion (2nd log below).

Are those mkvs protected? Or in some folder that is encrypted or protected?

Just as a test, remove the audio and the subtitles and now try converting.

I've uploaded two videos below. The same file was dragged from a flash drive to the computer in question (test 1) and to my laptop (test 2). Removing the audio and subtitle doesn't work. I can't burn ANY video on my computer, which is bizarre.

If I understood those videos correctly,
test 1 was trying to convert that movie in your desktop, and test 2 converting same movie in laptop?

In desktop you can clearly see that video stream is detected with 0Kbs stream, non-playable and can not be converted.
In laptop it works just fine? Or at least it converts...

If that is the case, then there is something wrong in your desktop. You might need someone to check on it to fix it.

I've downloaded the latest beta and the problem still persists. (1st log with encoding/decoding disabled, 2nd log with encoding/decoding enabled). I doubt it's my computer as mentioned by JJ because I was able to convert the same video fine using convertxtodvd5 on the same computer. I've uploaded the video below:

Can you try to manually delete your output folder (or change it to another drive), and reinstall ConvertXtoHD with the clean options checked in installer?

Using 1.1.0.3 I've tried converting with "best video quality settings" unchecked and they both failed. Below are the two fail logs and youtube video:

2) Second fail log I checked use hardware encoding/decoding and it will burn but will always fail at the end.

I had this very same problem and found it to be a bug with the latest NVidia drivers 352.86. If I uninstall these drivers and install older 350.12 drivers then my encodes start to work again. Don't know if it is a NVidia bug or ConvertXtoHD bug. Hope it gets fixed quickly tho.

I had this very same problem and found it to be a bug with the latest NVidia drivers 352.86. If I uninstall these drivers and install older 350.12 drivers then my encodes start to work again. Don't know if it is a NVidia bug or ConvertXtoHD bug. Hope it gets fixed quickly tho.

It might be that, then selecting NOT to use any HW en/decoders should give good result.

I was using an older driver 347.XX so it wasn't due to the new driver installed. I updated to 350.12 and the same encoding error still appears.

I was able to burn successfully finally by enabling HW encoding/decoding and selecting the "no menu" template suggested by Claire! Below is the log!
