admins from this forum have stated it is infact supported however I am also experiencing failure to download this types of stream

Secure Stream isn't RTMPS. A Secure Stream is one that has some kind of copy-protection in it. RTMPS is just encrypted which is easier to download.

I figured it was encrypted of some sort and unfortunately I have no idea how it would be possible to successfully download these types so far these sites are hulu, and hbo GO also are two sites not yet possibly streamed from. Unless I use one software where I just capture a pre-determined spot on my screen which means I lack the high quality preferred.
