Keeping mind that VSO is a “1” developer shop, and crazy people like me love to beta test and report bugs

“We” beta testers may not get a chance to find a bug because I convert in NTSC and some else will covert in PAL.
I love using this template with this video, some else might use a different setting with a bad input file that I jave not encountered yet…

Some may NOT use subs or some videos I have seen have the subs SET to english or French so no need to set the und to something else.

As for the subtitles English in the 32 bits becoming ind in the 64, I will open an official but report for Jacques to reproduce and look into it WHEN he works on ConvertXtoDVD again…

Well thanks for making the bug report, but I think I am staying with the latest stable version (7.0.0.83) of the product for now until the 64 bit version is production quality.

Well things are getting weird.

Now when you download it from: https://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

The website still claims its '7.5.0.133'

But the name of the download has changed to 'vsoConvertXtoDVD7_win64_setup-avangate_588.exe', but what's an 'avangate' and a '588' version ?

And the properties of the downloaded file still say it's '7.5.0.131'.

What's going on here ?

Avangate is a software development company that makes a wide range of Internet applications. They probably developed something behind the scenes that VSO uses for their websites that delivers software download packages for them.

Hello,

Jacques is probably working on a new software OR working on ConvertXtoHD 64 bits, so zero movement on the bug site…

In the past, it’s dead for a while, then takes a few days, week to give love to Downloader & ConvertXtoDVD (Usually priorities 1st) so let’s soon what will happen…

Hi, just asking, but: did ConvertXtoDVD 7.5.0.135 fix this bug (14527) ? The 'release notes' states 'fix subtitle issue'. Is this bug it ? Is it solved now ?

(I can't check myself because I have no access to the actual bug report).

No, this subtitle bug is still opened…

VSO “I assume” is working on ConvertXtoHD 64 bits, so omly looks at Downloader and ConvertXtoDVD once in a while for now.
