QQ Music disorient Downloader

Hi

I'm using Downloader to download (or trying to download) some mp3 on QQ Music page. The problem is that sometimes I get an mp4, sometimes an mp3, sometimes BOTH, sometimes the title is ok, sometimes not. I couldn't figure why. I'm not talking about conversion, it is turned OFF. I'm specifically talking about downloading.
If I try to download a playlist it can download 3 or 4 mp3 and the rest mp4. The best result I could get is to play each file alone in the player. Most of the time I get both files so I delete the mp4 and keep the mp3.

Any clues?

from what site do you have this result, can you provide a full URL?

I'm getting a message:
"Your account does not have permission to post links or domain/page references."

The site is QQ Music (best Chinese streamer!) use google to find it

to post an url you need to have at least 1 post (antispam), so now you should be able to share one.

Hit the play button at the top or place the cursor over any song and hit play on the icon on the right.

the detection is not dependent on the browser, for the test I used Chrome.

I've tried again. Tried individual songs. First was OK (I got an mp3 file, well renamed). Second file was an mp4. This is the log.

as you can see in the log it is a mp4:

MP3 or MP4 are just some containers, any player can play both.

I've installed a clean Windows XP Virtual Machine on VirtualBox to test it.
Tried with the same disk with the playlist for the entire disk.
First file: mp3, well renamed.
Second file and later files, mp4 and not renamed.

Only way to make it work:
1) Close browser
2) Start browser in private/incognito/whatever and launch the url
3) play ONE song

Repeat for every file from step 1.

If I try with a playlist I get one mp3 and the rest mp4 (without rename). Also if you download the same file in different formats, the files are completely different in size (for example 772kb or 2,08mb).

this is the server side implementation, we cannot change it...
but once your MP4 downloaded you can convert it into MP3.
