convert the movie then watch output for example start with 7th minute, you can see that subtitle goes up and down

Just to be sure we use the same terms:
- Input -> Your source file
- Preview -> Self explanatory
- Output -> Conversion

In the image above I'm comparing the preview to the output (conversion), isn't that your issue?

No, It's not
Convert the source file then play output DVD, check subtitle position

When did the logview pane become a seperate window instead of fixed at the bottom? I liked the old way better and it allowed me to view the log permanently without blocking any view of the main GUI.

Oh and it see the nl-BE locale likely wasn't synched in beta .47. There's no way there's nearly 1K new strings. Manually doing a sync from the online repo using the tool fixed the "974 new strings" issue. After synching there's only 8 new strings (which now have also been synched). This currently causes multiple strings in the main GUI and settings to be in English and not Dutch (nl-BE)

Installed fine, bust just as a precaution i checked language file status. Seems like 12 strings didn't get synched. Fixed that through repo connection.

vers 48 for both DVD7 and HD3 make coasters, unplayable data dvds. Converted on 2 different pcs and tested on two different Sony DVD/BD PLayers. Gone back to version 47 and all OK

Hello all! I’m new to this forum, but have been using ConvertXtoDvd religiously for the past year.

I can echo yoyo57’s sentiments. Version 48 produces DVD that’s wont work, basically become coasters. Reverting back to Version 47 solves the issue.

Installed fine, bust just as a precaution i checked language file status. Seems like 12 strings didn't get synched. Fixed that through repo connection.

I tried to reproduce what you describe from a clean install and got 13 updates instead of 12 and the second time I tried (also from a clean install) I got 2. So I'm changing the localisation tool so it can log the changes it has made.
I'll keep you posted.

excellent, feel free to e-mail me an (internal) pre-beta build if you want to do some prior testing

there was a faulty burn issue in build 48. Was fixed in 49. It's your own risk to use beta's don't blame the staff. Oh and you do know u can EDIT a post right?
