Re: DVDs only partly filled won't play
One DVD I tried had 3 titles, all of them 5 minutes long. Those titles were conversions in CX2D of videos of unchanging static scenes like you get in a slideshow with each slide shown for 5 minutes. It was created to quickly test for menu problems and the total size of the DVD was only 158 MB so may...

DVDs only partly filled won't play
Anyone else having this problem? It gives a message that no valid video media is found.
I wonder if it is a 1 GB restriction on total file size on the DVD. Anyway, it restricts using test DVDs with short files used to test for conversion problems for example.

Re: Only part of files in AVCHD folder convert, v1.0.0.1
Works great, accepts all my AVCHD folders now. Thanks cedric. There are still a couple of minor concerns though for vid cam users. The program automatically merges all clips taken during a day into one which is a good idea IMO. But there are usually some that one might not want to include. This isn'...

Thanks for the speedy update! The new version did allow me to load all playlists in the AVCHD folder I sent and I can select which ones to convert. But those playlists are out of order as shown in the image below and they convert out of order. They should be arranged with 6.6 first followed by 7.3, ...

The support tool won't let me select a folder, only files. How can I send the folder? Note that my files are mts not m2ts. I will delete all of them except the 00003.mts which is essentially zero play length in order to keep size down, I'm on dialup IS. Maybe you can get some file header info from it.

Understanding CX2D Conversions and How to Get Best Quality
Preface This topic is intended to explain why and how CX2D conversions are different from conversion programs many users are familiar with, and how to get the best results from it. It is necessarily long in order to overcome preconceived biases of users not familiar with CX2D‘s unique method of con...

How you make your background AR = 16:9 depends on preferences, programs you have and what you are comfortable doing. It is simpler for me to use a graphics editor for still image backgrounds -- there are several good free ones including VSO's Image Resizer. I usually crop the image to 16:9 as shown ...

A good easy to follow guide for changing the menu aspect ratio in the IFO files so a menu generated at 4:3 aspect displays at 16:9. The technique has been discussed several times, most recently in http://forums.vso-software.fr/menu-sizing-issue-t11541.html But There is a way to change the aspect rat...
