VSO not detecting

VSO is not detecting anything, even the test video. I clean the cache before using it and it still doesn't work. The only way to get it working is to reboot the computer whenever I want to use VSO, and that's a little bit much. What's happening?

Hello Diesel67,

Try a fresh/clean install of the latest beta. If that doesn't work, post your log.

Hello Diesel67,

You have to post the actual log file. It's a '.txt' file. Instructions on how to do that as well as for a fresh/clean install are found here: http://forums.vso-software.fr/read-befo ... 16458.html.

I did the clean install according to your instructions and it worked for a day. Now I'm having the problem again. It won't detect your test video ("Detect my first video now") or any other. I cleaned the cache first. I shouldn't have to do the clean install every day or whenever I open the program, should I? The log file (txt) is attached. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thank you.

If it works after clean install then everything is ok with program.
Something else is causing it to stop detecting, firewall/antivirus/PeerBlocker etc.

I switched browsers from MSIE 11 to the latest version of Firefox, and the program is detecting for the time being. However, for some but not all videos only 50% is downloaded, with a message that I need the full version. I HAVE the full, licensed version. How do I fix this? I don't think I have the keycode anymore.

I suggest contacting VSO directly to confirm you have the right license key for the version you are using.
