McAfee and VSO Downloader - no detection

Post by Claire »

If you are using McAfee Antivirus and you are not detecting any streaming content then you need to change a setting in McAfee.

Go to Firewall section, and click on the words setting near the right
or in the 4 grey boxes go to the section that says web and mail protection. Click on the word firewall
(First image below)

Now a new display will appear with 8 grey boxes / sections. Go to the section Ports and System Services.
(Second image)
Here you want to check Port 80.
Refresh the page you are streaming web content and now it should be detected in VSO Downloader.

I followed all the instructions about the McAffe but the VSO Downloader did not detect the video automatically.
I´m very angry because i really need the videos.
I don´t know what to do.

we developed our in-house network driver, install the latest version then go to the settings > network driver then select EVE driver
