I am trying to burn a project on 8.5GB DVD as it recommended I use a DVD-9 it has worked in the past but I get the following:

Init DVD+R Dual Layer: Layer change set to LBA 1826592 (3.48 GB.)

Write speed set at x4.0 (5540 kB/s)
layer break set by filesystem builder at 1826592
Available write speed: x6.0 (8310 kB/s) *, x4.0 (5540 kB/s), x3.0 (4155 kB/s)
Media ID: RITEK-S04-42VidMate Mobdro

Layer break is proposed in cell boundary at Titleset #1, PGC #1, Cell #6, vobu #17983, sector #1826592, at time 02:29:51
Scanned files #11, folder #2 - total size 5061560320 b. (4.71 GB.)
Inserted media type : dvd+r dual layer
Volume ID: 6429
Folder: C:\Users\Robert\Documents\ConvertXtoDVD\6429\
Write started
DVD Video burn process started
Writable disc dvd+r dual layer inserted. Ready to write

I was hoping someone might have an idea on what I should do or just scrap this movie? If you require more information I will try to get it.

Thanks

Hi, I think that the problem is your dvd burner or disc blank media.
Have you tried with other blank media disc?

Have you always used the same DVD+R DL or have you switched to different ones? Also, what kind DVD+R DL are you using? Verbatim Life Series? (NOT DataLife Plus.) If you're using pretty much anything other Verbatim DataLife Plus (NOT Life Serires.) DVD+R DL, you will generally regret it, either with immediate problems or problems in the future.

If you've always used the same DVD+R DL, I'd look into possibly seeing if the problem is your DVD burner.

Hi,

Media ID: RITEK-S04-42

For single layer media, Ritek are acceptable…

When it comes to Dual Layer media, I 100% also agree to *ONLY* use the best Verbatim DVD+R DL and absolutely nothing else, else it’s good luck :(
