Trying to convert more than 2 mkv files failure?

Hi
I am trying to convert 3 (or more) mkv files (with hardcoded subtitles) to DVD format as one file (merging 3 to 1).
A while ago, it worked perfectly, but now, it will convert 2 files, but if I try to do more than 2 onto one DVD format, it fails every time.
I can use avidemux to "change" the files and it then succeeds with 3 or more files, but I lose the subtitles with avidemux!
