ConvertxToDVD converts the several subtitle-character wrong.
Screenshot 1 should bw: één
Screenshot 3 should be: patiënt
Screenshot 4 should eb: gênant
Working from srt file.
Font selected Arial, see screenshot 2
Using ConvertXtoDVD vserion 7.0.0.69
And there maybe more characters.

Solved the issue.
Default Settings -> Subtitles -> Subtitle Rendering Settings: Code Page set to ASCII
The examples above are gone.
Tested also with ñ and some other letters but now it seems fine.
Much regards,

Nemesh

Hi Nemesh,
Could you send the srt right here?
SRT files are usually very small, should work.
Thanks,
Maggie

Hello Maggie,

Problems is solved.
What you want the srt for?
Is it possible you give a answer to my PM to you?
With regards,

Nemesh

If the SRT (or in fact any text-based subtitle files) is specifically converted to UTF-8 format (unicode), then it'll work as UTF-8 is the default code page.

But if the subtitle file isn't unicode, then it may be incorrectly rendered, in that case, it must be set specifically in the subtitle settings to operate.

the most simple to be sure is to use a text editor (such as notepad++) to convert the subtitle file to unicode (UTF-8) format with BOM. With such a file, it'll always work.

Hello Jaques,

I have set UTF-8 with BOM in Subtitle Edit.
But had to set it from Western European to ASCII in ConvertXtoDVD.
