Will Blu-ray Converter Ultimate 4 convert a standard DVD?

I'm away from my computer and can't test this idea, so I'm posting the question in a forum post.

Can BRCU 4 convert a standard (non-Blu-ray) DVD in a Blu-Ray DVD reader?

Hi,

Blu-Ray converter only accepts Blu-Ray/AVCHD as an input
