Rip with 'remux if possible' doesn't work with Atmos/TrueHD

Hi,

I've ripped 2 BRs with my preferred .m2ts profile settings (as usual, remux if possible) with BR Converter 4.x (acutal versions in May & August 2016) but finally have no audio when I play it back with VSO, VLC, JRiver MC.

After ripping the film I've checked the result and noticed the (not-playing) audio and ripped it with AC-3 (ok).

Does this mean I would have to check each BR manually before ripping it and remove the "remux if possible" setting from my profile (for these discs) or will there be any other future solution in BR Converter (support Atmos/TrueHD or not remuxing?)?

The "bad" results also don't play on my PC nor on my Linux-Receiver (at the moment) (and I'm not sure the audio-ripping part would be really ok).

Solution?

Hello,

As a test and you do a MKV FULL remux and see if the audio plays on that output?
(You can make a cut, so that only a short part is converted)

Post your custom profile here.

Thanks,

Claire

Hi Claire,

I've returned the BRs in the meantime and currently I don't have one for testing. Sorry.

But I will order a few BRs today or tomorrow. Hopefully an Atmos/TrueHD BR is included.
