I want to buy a key for this alpha.

Is it on sale yet, or will we be bound to a testing version till release?
I'd like to test it out without the limitations imposed by the trial status..

Other than a watermark on your output, all features should work !

Btw, if you wish to add images for testing, selecr All files (*.*)
Else you will not see available image files to load.

I have many suggestions for this sotware but still Alpha, we need to give time to VSO to implement the new features

Also, there is a ~10 minute video length output limit on encoding.

Oh I am sorry, I didn't know about that 10 minutes limit!
But still no keys probably like all other software until they make beta, close to production I guess

The programs offer a trial which is completely free (all features available) for the first 7 days after installation. After that the conversions will be limited to 10 minutes of conversion.

In the past, I had always registered before the 7 days, that's know I didn't knew hahahaha !!!

Potential bug (In both the alpha and stable versions):

When trans-coding Matroska files that contain three or more audio streams, only the first two streams are copied and any other audio track beyond the third is ignored.
The expected behavior is that all audio tracks in the source file should be copied when the application is told to explicitly do so before falling back to transcoding the default audio track as per user-defined settings.
I had to use mkvtoolnix to manually extract the extra audio clips from the source Matroska files, trans code the source files, extract them and re-merge with mkvmerge to re-create the container with all audio tracks. An extra step that works around the bug, but tricky and time-consuming.

Secondly, using the OpenCL implementation for hardware acceleration on multi-GPU systems seems to select the default OpenCL ICD on the system.
Can we have this (as a feature request), the ability to select the OpenCL device/ platforms to use, such that ConvertXtoVideo can tune out the maximum number of concurrent encodes based on the number of OCL platforms available?
Such an option would go under the Hardware Optimizations sub-menu under Video settings.

And related, how does ConvertXtoVideo handle platforms that have multiple NVIDIA or AMD GPUs? Are users prevented with the option to use all available NVENC ( and potentially, VCE) in concurrent sessions?

Hello,
you could add in a future version a volume control in the video edit window? that would be nice. If you edited a lot and to control the volume is very different, I always have to take the Windows volume.
