very disappointed with VSO ConvertXtoVideo v1.6.0.35 Beta.
any mkv video that will be converted to DVD NTSC profile, will be only 80% unless we change the Disc size to 7,700.
what a big dislike from me.

try to convert several mkv files:
-1920x872
-1920x800
-1920x816

and the result with 1.6.35 is always 80%
compare with 1.5.08 gives 100% (best quality)

Ok I understand now!
This is only a visual interface bug... will be fixed in next version.
Even if gauge says 80%, the final video quality will be as good (and I think better) than previous versions...

Stuck at loading multiple files.

Reproduction (use build .36)
- launch CXV 1.6.0.36
- open windows explorer file and navigate to folder containing multiple .avi files
- Drag multiple files over (i'd say a dozen)
- The dozen files will appear in the conversion list but a dialogue will stay open "loading files" and appears stuck at loading 2nd to last file (eg in case of a dozen. Loading file <filename> (11/12). If i load 36, it will be "stuck" at file 35.
- Hitting cancel wants to abort, but then the abort process is stuck with no option but to kill the process

100% reproduction rate

downgrade to .35: problem solved

** EDIT ** 1.6.0.37 seems to have resolved the issue.

Feature request. FALLBACK encoding engine. Last night i tried to encode 72 files. When i came back just under a dozen had encoded. The others all were failed somehow. After a couple of retries manual, the program alerted that hardware encoding had failed and wanted to use software encoding. Request: when hardware encoding fails, automatically fallback to software encoding (by optional setting in the program)
Feature request. Rightclick functionality to rightclick anywhere in the program conversion list and clear the ENTIRE list. Right now the only option is to do it 1 by 1.
Feature request. until default language identifiers are added. The abilit to select multiple files at once, select 1 of them and be able to specify an audio language identifier. (so in my case of converting entire seasons at once, i don't have to do each of the hundred+ files manually 1 by 1)
Feature request. Ability to ADD more files to the encoding list WHILE encoding is taking place.
Feature request. When loading multiple files that are organised in subfolders from the loading directory. MAINTAIN that organizing in the output folder

eg;

6 video files

Show: TheABC
--- <season 1>
------ <file 1>
------ <file 2>
------ <file 3>
--- <season 2>
------ <file 1>
------ <file 2>
------ <file 3>

Output Folder C:\CXVideo Rebuilds
- <TheABC>
--- <season 1>
------ <file 1>
------ <file 1>
------ <file 3>

etc

Look 100% quality bug is already fixed.
Will try to test this version.
Btw, can you add 'change the priority converter on the fly' fiture so we can change the priority at any time? Just like VSO ConvertXtoDVD?
I like and miss that fiture.
Thx u.

P.S: Oh yeah, have any body problem with 9.8 Mb/s in version 1.6.0.37 on your DVD Player? Just a little worried. Because i usually using v1.5.08 that applies around 8,752?

I test 1.6.0.39 audio normalize takes too long.

edit video not work.

Hello,

Can you completely uninstall our product using this tool
http://download2.vso-software.fr/CleanVSO.exe

and then resinstall and see if that solves the problem.

A user reported this too and that is how he solved the problem.
Otherwise to fix the issue we need to know what profile you are converting to, ideally post your conversion log, you can find that here
C:\ProgramData\VSO\ConvertXtoVideo Ultimate\1\Log

yes i know it.
what i mean is a function that can let us change the 'conversion priority' on the fly, while we still on conversion progress.

Hi,

While the conversion IS running, just go to the Settings Menu and change the priority there, on the fly :)
