If you ask me to check if Windows Audio is "On", it looks like you are talking with stupid.
Andd belive me, I'm not :-)

Nevertheless, I did all possible things, before I sent you my problem for the first time,
including one you wrote about. Definitely, I tried to select an audio track, but it did not help.
See attached "For VSO (2)".
Just to show you, attached is GOM player, playing the same clip "For VSO (3)".
I can Mute the audio track, as shown in attached "For VSO (4)", and then Unmute it. No problem.

One more time. I'm not searching for bugs in your software! As I wrote, something happens on my PC,
because VSO Media Player works well.

So, the only thing I asked you for, is to understand, what can influence on YOUR PROGRAMM, to make
it start with audio disabled. A direct selection of an audio track did not help, as well.

Let us decide. If you can not answer this question, just wrote me.
I will uninstall your very good Player and "se tu".
There are a lot of others to use ...
