nearly a week and no fix or even a response.................i expected better than this
whats the point in even testing the beta???????

You seem to have no clue about programming.
When any program is in beta-test that means that most of it is stable, but when bugs are found they will be fixed.
There is no real schedule on how fast any given bug can be fixed, it takes the time it takes.
When testing beta you have to accept odd behaviour, crashes, even data loss in some cases.
You can not expect fast fixes or quick responses to problems.
Most likely VSO has been reading your messages, but they are not answering before they get something done to problem.

No i dont know about programming but i have helped and tested many beta products

I know about politeness and a simple response that somebody is alerted and acknowledges the problem is all that is required
As i have previously said i paid for the original program and have opted to test the beta and also have responded to the message that comments on the release are welcomed
If you are nothing to do with vso or the program then please respectfully stop with any sarcastic remarks , stay away from my posts and keep your remarks to yourself

The problem with DVD output is fixed, but I want to fix some other bugs before publishing the new version.
2.0.0.7 version should be available today or tomorrow...

I havent reported any dvd output problems its avi

Also can you confirm if the program is not going to crash when you go to the edit screen (crop etc)

Hi,

I'm working on...
Padding/cropping editor will not crash anymore, but I can't reproduce the problem with audio/video sync in AVI.

Can you give me more details about the movie (Cleaner) you're trying to convert like input video format (PAL/NTSC, interlaced...) and audio input format (AC3, DTS...)

I will try to find a movie with same properties.

tried region 2 "The Deer Hunter" with built in low xvid profile and worked ok
i then made a custom profile xvid 640x480 avi ac3 192 and got an extremely wierd result
picture perfect pushed towards the top of the screen with black bars all around it..............a second picture frame underneath it with a thick green tint to it and a third picture frame perfect starting on the right side of the screen

Has anyone looked at my reported problem from last sunday?
Not had any response again for nearly a week...........any news if its been worked on etc?
For now Ive gone back to 1.4.0.8 as have gotten fed up with all the errors and getting virtually no response when I report anything (which I thought we were supposed to do)
