[Feature Request] Save Subtitles to External File

Post by ArmadilloMan »

I typically end up using OCR to make an SRT set of subtitles, and the process of opening the subtitles would be drastically faster if I didn't have to parse the entire mkv file. I would like to see the option to save the subtitles to an external track, i.e. Avengers.mkv and Avengers.pgs or Avengers.sub in the same directory after conversion.

Hello,

I am not sure I understand. You want to be able to do this in our software because you don't like the solution you have to do this in another product? Because in the other product it takes too long to parse the entire mkv file?

Why do you want a completely separate stream?

We could not make and srt but we would maybe be able to make sub/idx but definitely low priority item in our list of development tasks.
