Blu-ray converter 2.1.1.35, beta version available!

Post by cedric »

Hi all,

You like Blu-ray converter but you think some useful features are missing?
You may be right...
That's why VSO has worked hard to make a new version taking into account all your requests ...

Current beta is available here (2.1.1.35):
http://oasis.vso-software.fr/Beta/Blura ... 1.1.35.exe

Latest official version on website is 2.1.1.34
http://www.vso-software.fr/download_pro ... erultimate

What's new?

- More than one conversion can be simultaneously processed
* In response to users complaining "my 8 cores are not working hard, they can do more!"
- The visual interface has been completely reworked
- Added video padding/cropping feature
- The video output can be limited by file size (like previous versions) or by video bitrate
- An integrated video player has been added to allow users to check the audio / subtitle tracks he wants to keep
- The remuxing profiles have been optimized
- The CUDA encoder / decoder Improved

Hmm,

Existing Blu-ray Utimate key is the 'old' format, retrieving the key again still gives the 'old' format.

I get VSO protecting their intellectual property by updating the keys for all their software it seems but this is getting ridiculous.

I do not know why strengthening the security of keys is ridiculous?
At this time, which is ridiculous is the time it takes to find a pirated key or keygen on the net ...

What's ridiculous is that as a Gold Member I have to go out of my way to send a direct email to someone to get an updated key. Why can this not be done via the web form? I can get a new ConvertXtoDVD 5 key and there's not even a link posted for downloading the installer in these forums. I don't even have ConvertXtoDVD 5 to install at this time because I have no way to get the installer. The key was already sent to me when I retrieved all my keys and I can't even make use of it but I cannot get a key for the Blu-ray Converter Ultimate beta which is actually posted in the forums? Do you see the frustrating and sad humour with this situation?

I get and support you guys protecting your property. There are a lot of bad people out there pirating software but everytime I turn around I'm having to get a new key and I can't conveniently have it sent to me without needing to deal with a human being which means it takes longer and it's added work on my part... the customer. Sorry, but when I go to update and it seems like every time I do so I need to jump through a hoop again it gets seriously annoying.

The only one reason you must "deal with a human", is that our webmaster is in vacation...
He's an human too, and needs a break sometimes :D

Fair enough and, sure, everyone needs time off but wow your release timing is bad timing with vacation time. :D Just how much vacation time does the webmaster get each year? LOL.

Like the published version is only a BETA version timing was not critical.
For sure when this new version will be officially released (and sold), the upgrade page will works!

Haven't had a chance to do any projects with v2 yet but from quick looking the interface is supremely nicer than v1, IMHO.

Also, I see the support request form now includes the new v2 key. Nice!

Any chance you are going to go back to the settings from v1 (at least from a compression stand point)? I'm about to give up on ths product and go back to Handbrake.....
