Tried Avatar as this has forced subs... created a MP4 custom profile, 1080p cuda, forced subs, AC3 audio..

Results: 1080p video played fine but no subs at all (not even the forced), no audio as mp4 does not allow AC3 (mediainfo says AC3 track is in there but nothing will play it)

Must also say the new GUI is a lot worse looking than previous versions

Also tried V Season 1 Episode 1 on a custom profile: Remux video, MP4, AAC audio, no subs... error on starting... will try other discs on this profile and report back.

Same error on start with all discs i try also can no longer find how to open the logs etc on this new GUI...

Same error on start with custom MKV remux video and only recode audio to ac3 ...

For the interface did you see you can change the theme? You can do this in the advanced settings, under the tab "Interface".

We are investigating your other problems.
