How to Delete a Custom Template?

Post by DavidS »

Using ConvertXtoDVD 7. How do I delete a custom Template that I no longer want?
I'm talking about custom templates that I created, not templates that came with the program.
Templates that came with the program are stored here:
C:\ProgramData\VSO\ConvertXToDVD\7\Templates\
I assume that deleting the associated files would make one of those templates go away.
But I can't find where he's storing my custom template files, so I can't delete them.
Can you tell me where the custom template files are stored?
OR - Maybe there's a simpler way to delete a custom template?

Thanks,
DavidS

I found my own answer which I'm posting here, in case anyone else has this question.
The User created Custom Templates are stored here:

...\Documents\ConvertXtoDVD_Resources\Templates\template name\

Just delete the folder with the name of the Template you wish to remove.

Good morning,

Thank you so much for sharing !

When you posted, I was on the iPad so cannot search my PC ;)
I did quickly this morning before leaving, and yes you already posted the link --> C:\ProgramData\VSO\ConvertXToDVD\7\Templates\

I never used the Menu Editor nor used custom templates, so I promised myself to search my PC on my return, trying to find you an answer, and there it was :) :) :)

I remember that folder now, not something you go into each day :)

Anyway, thanks for sharing, 1 share helps hundreds or thousands of users ;)

Have an amazing day !
