@Hasbro

For now Version 7 is Beta, we hope to release it officially in a few weeks. If you really don't want to use the beta version, eventhough it si very stable, you can use the latest version 6 (official release), V 6.0.0.90:

Beside Menu Editor, is there anything else new in this version?

Just have 2 real quick and easy questions:

1): I believe a bought a Lifetime License for ConvertXtoDVD ... Will it still work
with the new V7 or will I need to download an updated license key ?

2): Will V7 (and maybe future versions) still work on Windows XP PRO SP3 ?
If not, then I would need to install it on a newer computer with Windows 10 64 Bit

Thank you

I can partly reply for 2: All versions so far, including version7, work on Win XP. I can not tell you about future versions. Although I had better results on Win 10 being 64 bit. With more RAM.

When I click in the ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.25 link all it does is bring me back to the top of forum. I am not really understanding how to try the 7 version. Please clarify the process. Thanks,

I don't follow the release schedule or know if they do a MAC version. I run Windows XP PRO on
one computer and Windows 10 Home 64 on another one. And for me, the last version 6.x
is still doing an excellent job. That is not to say that there may be great improvements in V7

Just to let you know, there is always a link to the most recent Beta version and usually a link to the last stable release, in the very 1st post of this thread, that's why Coral's link took you there.

Hi,
1) Yes, you can use v7 with your current license.
2) As Coral said, V7 is compatible with XP and we will keep this way as long as we can.

The most recent license key is for version 6 and right now that key works for version 7 beta. Presumably someone will need a new license key when v7 is officially released.

Well either way, since I have the lifetime license for it, I would just go to the web site
and download the newer key.
