Hello Claire..
Hope yr life's full of sunshine..!
Thanks for an app worth every cent! I certainly agree with the other compliments I've encountered..
Ok, Ok..
You won't remember probably, but yrs ago I had lots of probs with the menu.. I won't go into it because fortunately it's now history.
Ok.. now I'm up to # ~~77, and a couple of things I'd like to ask..
1) How to make editing out an advt. more precise - especially with adverts in movies. Can only get it precisely cut & joined with short segments.
Any chance a newer version later will enable (reliable) precision with medium+ length segments?
One Idea I had was to modify the ConvertX saved project file & *manually* insert the precise timing of segments to be removed
2) In fine adjusting the project file video with the slider increment.. When I select (say) the 1 sec. back option from the dropdown men of the slider, after clicking that, it does what its meant to but only stays selected for about a second, and then goes into normal play from that position.

Would really appreciate a helping hand with these Claire..
All the best & thanks,
Marcus Coleman (crwn)

So it is the sony-r media which is causeing the problem. I can't immagin why you are getting the crashing tho. Usually when the media does not support the writing speed you will only get a bad burn. Not a crash.
I had a similar problem a very long time ago, because the discs were badly coded.

Using menu "classic, simple but elegant" and changing in menu editor -> edit meu duration -> duration of loop section from 20 seconds to 30 seconds. Saving the project. Closing ConvertX an re-open ConverX and loading the project the duration of the loop section is 20 instead of 30 seconds. So ConvertX changed the setting automatically to the default value.

Disk media always have a rating to tell you the burning speed you can set. Optical drives also have a rating in the specifications at which they can burn a disk.
Taking in consideration these two veriables, you should set the burning speed to the correct value. I don't trust automtic. Even on any stand-alone burning software. Always set the burning speed manually !!

Does VLC detect the correct language?

The new beta, and other recent builds give the Green Screen of Death with the new RS2 Insider Preview build 15002. Some sort of Kernel Corruption error. This occurs before the program has a chance to fully load, while the big Red X is still on the monitor. :( I do not know which version this GSOD starts with, but I do know that version 4.2.0.0 DOES work.

Since I up dated to the latest version the process has slowed down from 8 minutes to almost an hour and a half on one video. I need to either get it fixed or revert back to the version I had prior to the update. For some reason the support tool will not work even if I shut my firewall off. Does anyone know how I can get this corrected or connect to technical support through email? It could have been I added a lot of updates at one time starting from ConvertXtoDVD - 6.0.0.57
