Settings in ADVANCED EDIT lost after saving

Post by mue.mat »

Hello
When I use ADVANCED EDIT and set in video settings "user defined (ascpect ratio kept)" and I SAVE the settings, quit the software after SAVING IN A FILE --> after opening the file the setting "user defined (aspect ratio kept)" is lost (ONLY this setting), the other saved settings are kept.
Please fix this bug.
Thanks and regards

You have to do the following:

1. Enter ADVANCED EDIT
2. VIDEO FIT METHOD --> originally I put "letterbox" in FIT METHOD
3. Change to "user defined (aspect ratio kept)"
4. Cut the movie down-up (f.e. value 240 from the bottom; rest value 0)
5. Save and close ADVANCED EDIT window
6. Files --> Save project as... (any name)
7. Quit ConvertXtoVideo
8. Open saved file
9. Enter ADVANCED EDIT --> and the setting in VIDEO FIT METHOD again is "letterbox", and not "user defined (aspect ratio kept)" as I saved. But the rest of the settings is properly saved.
Strange thing.

I tried out with several other video files.
And the bug indeed DOESN'T occur with other video files.
So, I guess, settings aren't saved properly only in this one particular video file I was using. With all other video files VIDEO FIT METHOD is saved properly.
That means: problem resolved.
Thanks anyway
