Automate/Schedule conversions

Post by Jeffn365 »

I run PVR software that records over the air HD TV. I want to have the ability to have "ConvertXtoVideo Ultimate 1" to convert the videos from ".tp" files to MP4 videos but want to be able to automate and schedule the conversions. I see there is a VSO batcher but that requires ConvertXtoDVD and does not recognize ConvertXtoVideo. Is this possible with the software today? I cannot seem to find any data on this topic. Can anyone here please provide some direction.
Thank you!

Hello,

What you mean by "schedule the conversions"?
What output format do you use?

I want to use a CLI command in a script or an automated process to convert a file from .TP to an MP4 file.
I can use a script to collect the names of the new files and then convert them to an MP4 file.
Scenario:
DVR program records a program called "Show1" and saves it in it's default format of TP in c:\shows
I have a scheduled process that looks for new files in c:\shows and see that there is a new "Show1.tp" file
It runs a command line executable to run VSO ConverXVideo to convert "Show1.tp" to "Show1.mp4"
I hope this makes sense. Please let me know.
Thank you

Hello,

Sounds like support for command line, we will try to add it in the near future.
