You know, I liked it better when the File - Open from DVD Structure automatically deleted something from the list if it wasn't there anymore, rather than having to go into Options to clear the history every 10-15 jobs or so.

Where is your interest to convert a 25Fps video to 50Fps?

Only if your playback system supports playing 50FPS; most TVs do not.
If TV is advertized as 100Hz or 200Hz etc it does not mean that it can play 50FPS.

That feature(conversion to 50 or 60 fps) doesn't work anyway.

Bitrate > 15 MB/sec

Post by wtin »

Is it possible to have a custom setting for bitrate (in my case, for blu ray output) so it can produce a disk with bitrate more than 15 MB per second.

The reason I am asking this is because I have had Nero 2015 / 2016 and never got around to playing with Nero Video until yesterday. It allows me to set up a custom bitrate up to 40 MB/second.

I realize that the output is smaller (with 15 MB v.s. 40 MB), and I may not even be able to tell on the screen. But am just wondering how difficult it is from your end to add this feature. I tried to look at the INI file so see if there is a hidden setting (or something) but there isn't.

I do have some MOV / MP4 files with very high bitrate and would like to convert them to BR disk without too much compression.

I hope I am not being unreasonable.

Like you can see in history I removed this suggestion so, the last version doesn't include it.

How do you know/check this?
Are you encoding more than one file in same time?

Hi cedric

No, I have a CPU widget and it shows all cores (i7) operating @ 100% when I'm encoding.

If you set 6 cores for decoding and 6 cores for encoding, all you cores will be used...
If you really want to use 6 cores only (I would like to know why?), use 2 cores for decoding and 4 cores for encoding...

Regrds,
when i use all cores then my cpu goes to 100%, and then the temp begins to rise, i would rather the conversion take longer and have the temp remain a bit lower.

ill drop it down a bit more and see what happens.

Thanks

So, I create custom preset MKV+H264 and converter is crashing on 2-pass encoding(HD video). It's ok if conversion not in 2-pass mode. And yet, there's no info in log about my custom preset (string with info) with 2-pass and it is if i run converter in 1-pass. But my 3gp profile working normally with 2-pass(no crash). It's strange.
I found that converter crasing only on HD video files.(HD to HD)

Problem still there. Conversion 2-pass HD to HD ending with error.

ConvertXtoVideo 2.0.0.39 BETA download is corrupt. Tried multiple times using different browsers. ConvertXtoDVD and ConvertXtoBluray beta downloads are fine.

Hello Cedric,
just to confirm to you that every time i try to download the latest ConvertXtoVideo 2.0.0.39 BETA file version, the download is "broken", supposedly incomplete. Windows 10 tells me that the file is not ok, that i should download again.

I used the following link to download this file:

http://oasis.vso-software.fr/Beta/LastB ... .0.39b.exe

I was able to download all the other BETA files that i need, no problems at all, only this one is not ok for me.
Thank you in advance to check this.

Best regards,
