Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue with PROXY

Post by Cougar_II »

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.google.ca. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

What can you do about it?

www.google.ca has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.
Downloader v6.0.0.78

On my MAIN Computer, when I enable RADAR MODE, I seem to lose Internet Connectivity....
See the message above.....

NO, I have NOT rebooted (YET) I was trying to find what is wrong....

On a 2nd PC, I DID see this message then POOF then is worked, I was back on the internet and was able to download using RADAR MODE....

Has anybody experienced this issue, specially getting stuck and not recovering, NEED to close Radar mode to recover internet access ????

I'm not saying this is your problem but you might want to double check your URL. I have seen in the past when using RADAR it will produce a URL that looks similar to this: https:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Yh_6_zItPU

Another (unlikely but possible) source of problems is that Firefox has just reached version 100. Some sites and programs are reading it as version 10 instead and will not use the browser because it is considered too old.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback, but everything runs 100% NOT in Radar Mode, only occurs when I start Radar Mode, wonder if the VSO Proxy and/or because of Firefox 100 things are not happy.

100% NO ISSUES on my 2nd PC just this one here, weird :)

Rolled back to v6.0.0.75 = NO ISSUES
Installed v6.0.0.76 = NO ISSUES

Installed v6.0.0.77 = ** ISSUES ***

So something on the proxy in v6.0.0.77 and v6.0.0.78 CHANGED and is causing me those errors....

If you have installed vein extensions or proxies, sometimes you can lose signal with the local network. This is due to gateway incompatibilities. When the gateway is released, the Internet connection is restored. There are cases when due to proxy connection, the LAN internet is not restored due to drivers. They would crash after such manipulations. I used the full proxy package because I had no problems like you and other proxies. Especially proxy pricing suits me fine, and I like to switch between anonymous modes when I work
