Hello everyone,

I don’t consider this a software bug, why I am posting it here.

I have upgraded to the latest version, and wanted to download a YouTube video, but all I had were download issues.

I had an idea and turned off my VPN (PIA / Private Internet Access) and poof it worked like a charge.

Anyone else experiencing issues with Downloader and a VPN ?

YES, when I had the issue, I have reinstalled .64 and to my big surprise, I had the same issue.

So reinstalled .65 on top of it all, stopped VPN and it worked.

One thing I have NOT tried is connect to a different country or VPN site, see if the issue comes from my IP location/connection.
I was fine in the past.

I run a few tests, it is working for us with HMA VPN.
Which one are you using? If it's a free one I could try it out from there.

PIA is what I use and 99% of the time connect to Toronto, CANADA.

I wanted to look at the logs and sent them, but could NOT find my logs

I use the Report Tool this morning (From work) to report .log files issues for me !

I wanted to retest downloader with my VPN and it told me there was an engine update.

WHAT ? didn't this get done when I installed .65 ?

Anyway, connect in EUROPE, worked.

Reconnected to Toronto, Canada, well.... WORKED !

So maybe my original issue was OLD engine.

This is why I have a request somewhere on the bug site to all ENGINE version in the HELP about and/or in the logs etc...

You know, the LOG I can't find HAHAHA yes another bug report
