:( :?: raiplay.it - html file: among those that can be reproduced, that is that you can watch, some are detected others not, not even with copy-paste of the address and exclusion of the automatic detection.

Hi there,
Thanks for the report.
Do you have a link?
Are you using the last beta version?
Cheers,

Yes, I can provide links, but since Rai makes the vision available only for the seven days following the broadcasting of some titles and not for the whole schedule, I suppose it is better to send you links on the same day that the problem occurs. , so that you have a few days to carry out the necessary checks.
The notices on the monitor are of 2 or 3 types: one is, for example, "not available due to network problems", incomprehensible since my network at the same time has no problems nor that of the television network, since I can go from a Rai page to the next or previous one without problems.
More often, however, in those html files that are not downloaded - while for others, with the same identical characteristics, and transmitted the same day - the “unsupported format” warning appears.

Since it is possible to send the print monitor to the forum, the sequential reconstruction of what happens would be faster and clearer for you and also for me.
See you soon, good day and thanks for the quick reply.

I apologize for the length of the post. I understand English well enough in reading but I cannot speak or translate it from Italian. The translation made with Google on a more concise text generates many errors of meaning.

Experience just now

link 1 (schedule of the day: the white links are the visible ones, the gray ones not)
https://www.raiplay.it/guidatv/lista?ca ... 18-10-2019
direct click on this screen, go directly to the relative file (short arrow), one of the three files that are not seen)
link 2
https://www.raiplay.it/video/2018/07/Cr ... 8a4b0.html
result "The content cannot be executed because it is not available or not supported"
link 3
https://www.raiplay.it/programmi/crazyexgirlfriend/
and link 4
https://www.raiplay.it/programmi/crazye ... nd/episodi
both bring to the detail of the available series
link 5
https://www.raiplay.it/raiplay/video/20 ... 748758fbef. html
one of the three that you see and download instead

Desktop PC
Windows 7Ultimate x64, RAM 16G, Firefox 60.9.0esr (64 bit) both latest update.
VSO v. 5.0.1.61 but it also happened with the previous ones, both with automatic detection and with copy and paste of the link.
The situation does not change if you use the LAN or the Wireless.
Another observation ... the automatic detection works for the first 5-6 session links, then it seems to suffer and I have to switch to copy-paste (which always works).

A grateful greeting

Hi,
After a few tests, all the videos I tried to watch worked for me (Crazy Ex-gf, X Files...)

Could you try a clean/fresh install of our last beta version:
http://download.vso-software.fr/archive ... 0.1.62.exe
Please check all three cleaning options. (see attached screenshot)
Tell me how it goes!

Regards,

VSO Support team

However I understand that you have not done the tests on the links indicated by me, as the series named X-files etc, are downloaded regularly. The problem exists on SOME series or films (and only when they are transmitted as HTML) where only SOME of the available episodes are not downloaded. In the image I had attached, e.g., 3 yes and 3 no.
Meanwhile, the Rai website has revolutionized the image and the way to access files, and now I can download an average of 2/3 of the 8/10 titles I would like (including documentaries). The doubly strange thing is that the Video DownloaderHelper add-on for Firefox finds any file. I, however, find myself better with VSO because, as a foreigner to the browser, it also works by closing Firefox.
I'll let you know.
Thamks, hi :)
In the meantime, I put aside an old poster of mine, where I pointed out the problem of not being able to pause the download operation, useful when perhaps you need to use the PC for other jobs that take you by memory or network. Now, instead, I have to wait for it to finish downloading, since, closing VSO, not only the already downloaded part, but also the related links are lost.

The links are still available on the History!
It might be linked to the security protocol for each serie...
We've reported it: https://bugs.vso-software.fr/view.php?id=13785
You'll be informed if we solve it out!

Have a lovely day,

Hi Maggie, here I am again. I reinstalled VSO as suggested. At the beginning the program re-installed as indicated by instructions seemed to work better, but after a few days the problems started again. By doing various tests on Firefox, on the net and on VSO, I could see the following:

The last Firefox (68.2Eosr 64 bit) now engages many processes - at the moment, with 3 cards open, it has launched as many as 9.

VSO downloader, previously, allowed me to detect even 2O titles, downloading 4 at a time, now it spontaneously detects only 4, and often does not even take the links copied with suspension of the detection anymore.

 However, if I close both Firefox and VSO and restart the system, it works again for a few hours but then again the detection makes a fuss.

I have not yet updated to the very recent version of November 15th, which however does not seem to concern my problem.
It is however boring to have to restart the PC 2/3 times a day.
I hope the above can help improve the next versions.

If you need some reports, give me instructions on how to remove it and send it to you.
Thanks as always for your attention and for the time you spend on our problems.

Hi there,
I understand your frustration
We'll sort it out and solve it.
I did a few tries but I don't use Downloader as much as you do...
Could you try a clean install of the last version? (checking the three cleaning boxes)
http://download.vso-software.fr/archive ... 0.1.63.exe

Cheers,
