I use to be able to download from CBC.ca Firsthand but sometime in the past 6 months or so something has changed with how they deliver the stream and I can no longer download episodes. Is their any chance someone can look into this and maybe find a fix for a near future update of the downloader?

yeah sure http://www.cbc.ca/firsthand/episodes/ or http://www.cbc.ca/firsthand/episodes/reefer-riches for a specific video. It will detect several streams a queue them but they are all the same and if you let one of them complete you will get video in 720p however the audio track is missing. You will likely need to use a VPN service with a Canadian server to be able to test. I just tried it and I did manage to get audio but it was a) out of sync and b) was descriptive audio. I will try again but atleast this time I got audio.
