How to HELP US for next major to support new sites:
The new version has a new driver called VSO proxy.
The next major version will be based on this proxy - coming hopefully by the end of the year.
The more feedback on this proxy the sooner we will be able to publish the new major version that will support more protocols.
To use it, go into the Options | Network and select the Network driver to be VSO Proxy
The proxy acts like a driver and should be compatible with all browsers.
In the past if you had a problem with your network adapter 3G or USB modems it might now be supported with the VSO Proxy driver.
If you want VSO Downloader to support new sites, use the proxy and report any eventual problems to VSO. Positive feedback (i.e. "I'm using it and all is ok") is good to have too.
In order to give the best experience with the proxy the browsers cache is disabled (unlike when using EVE or Winpcap driver) so if you watched a video before opening VSO Downloader and now want to download it you do not need to clear your browsers cache in order for it to be detected
FYI proxy does not yet support RTMP protocol except RTMPT
