Issue with WinPcap Network Driver

Post by rwmol »

I'm using this driver because some of my downloads are incomplete with VSO EVE.

Running latest version with Windows 7 64 bit.

Here's the scenario: I have VSO Downloader running in the Taskbar. My computer goes to Sleep at 11PM. Awakens at 4AM to do a Windows backup. When I go to use my computer at about 7AM, I have a VSO message displayed. See attachment. When I check the VSO Settings the Network Driver has changed to VSO EVE.

UPDATE: I've been notified by email that a fix for this issue will be in a future version.

as we recently integrated the Proxy driver I invit you to uninstall the EVE driver to support the sleep mode compatibility.

It's reinstalled with a new version. Should I just leave it alone?

I suggest to use the Winpcap driver.
