but it takes 5,5 hours instead of normally 30 min.

Isn't a 1:1 remux of VC-1 possible? btw. I've never heard about this format before. ;)

Any other (fast) 1:1 solutions?

Thanks for helping.

Re: 5,5 hours instead of 30 min for 1:1 rip

Post by dosibo51 »

Hi,

is there someone who can help?

I'm not a format expert and don't understand why VC-1 (just read only on wikipedia about it) remux doesn't work.

Is it not supported by the blu-ray ripper (I'm using the latest version).

Is the only chance to run it 5,5 hours on my PC?

Thanks a lot

I've tried MKV with all the remux possibilities and this works. Ripping was fast - only 30-40 minutes for the blu-ray.

Does VC-1 codec not work inside m2ts or is it not supported by VSO?

I'm wondering because on the BR the BDMV / Stream directory contains all .m2ts files and the biggest is VC-1 but can not remux it into m2ts?

Thanks for the help from an expert.
