SlySoft AnyDVD Alternatives?

Post by SailorGuy »

I have been using SlySoft AnyDVD software for Blu-Ray Converter Ultimate for copy protection decryption.

Unfortunately, SlySoft permanently closed their doors on 02/24/2016 and will no longer be providing or supporting AnyDVD.

Just google "SlySoft AnyDVD" to read the sad news.

So what alternatives are available to replace the AnyDVD functionality?

Thanks,

Sailor Guy

Can anyone comment on whether Passkey for Blu-Ray from DVDFab works well with BRC Ultimate 3?

Thanks,

I posted a similar question and no one has responded to date :(

I had an AnyDVD lifetime license which is useless at the moment. I'm not anxious to buy another lifetime license only to see the company cease doing business.

DVDFab Passkey works just fine with our Software, as a background process like AnyDVD.

In any case I believe they have a 30 day free trial period.

AnyDVD 7.6.9.1 ...

http://www.videohelp.com/software/AnyDVD

No fake - works perfectly!

Code: Select all

7.6.9.1 2016 03 01
AnyDVD reborn! SlySoft is dead, long live RedFox!
This is an intermediate release, so old customers can continue to use their existing AnyDVD license to watch their discs.
This version can access the new RedFox Online Protection Database
This version will only work, if already own a valid AnyDVD license
For compatibility with 3rd party programs, AnyDVD will still use "SlySoft" for directories and registry paths
It will replace an existing SlySoft AnyDVD installation
New (Blu-ray): Support for new discs
Some minor fixes and improvements
