Some users have reported this message when adding MTS files from their video camera.
"Clip information file not found for file:"z:\..........\00028.MTS You can
only add files from a valid avchd structure"
Actually, either you copy the entire AVCHD structure from your camera to your computer (just copy the AVCHD folder, the subfolders will be copied too) or you use the MTS files directly from the memory card of the video camera.

So it appears that it is not possible to edit *.MTS files from the HDD. I find this rather strange ! Will this be possible in future versions ?LouisM wrote:Some users have reported this message when adding MTS files from their video camera.

Re: [Information] Adding MTS files in AVCHD
What do you mean by edit? Cut for example or simply process in AVCHD?
Re: [Information] Adding MTS files in AVCHD
Hello to all.
I am trying to add MTS files into AVCHD Editor, but the same error is showed:
"Sorry, in order to be able to load an mts/m2ts file VSO AVCHD Editor needs its corresponding clip information file (CLP/CLPI)......"
What I understand, I need those CLP files, unfortunatelly I have not copied them from my camera and are deleted now.
Is there any way how to re-create CLP files from MTS video files?
Thank you very much.
Martin

Re: [Information] Adding MTS files in AVCHD
Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
AVCHD editor can't work with single mts/m2ts files, it needs the whole structure. If you want to import single mts and output them as AVCHD you need to use our universal converter which you can find here:
