Something wrong with your eyes or browser? I see multiple images.

Below the source picture you have 3 next to each other, the results of the 3 different types of used filters.

Can you explain what does this comparison mean? What do these 3 filters represent? Is any of it used in CX2DVD3 and another in CX2DVD4, so we have a 3vs4 version?

It shows the difference between the 3 filters.

"Fast linear"(only V3), "Linear"(V4) and "Lanczos"(V4) filters

Like for most i think, the Lanczos filter seems to show the most detail compared to original image, eg. on the first set you can read the text much better then on the first 2 filters.

Thanks for the answer. It's real hard to follow a thread in which it isn't clarified by anyone what it is discussed. We are not all members of the VSO team.

So, in version 4 will you have the option to choose what filter you prefer?

it's a discussion to confirm Lanczos is actually giving visible best filtering results, and which is the filter to use if you want to increase the dvd encoding quality

it is not planned, as we try to focus our test between the version 3 and 4 ( we have next performance charts to do due to multicore optimization )
