Is it possible to set subtitles to be off by default ? My memory is failing me. lol

I can see default subtitle lanuage, but not to set to off

If I remember correctly, subtitles are 'OFF' unless you specify to have them on by checking 'default' box at end of subtitle line (in Tree View).
Of course, you could always right-click subtitle and 'remove' to be sure. This would completely remove the subtitle from your project/DVD.
If you need to keep the subtitles (but not automatically have them display), just convert your file without opting to have them play as 'default'.
In the case of hard coded subtitles - you cannot just turn them off. They either have to be masked (Blurred, etc) or cropped out of file.
