Hi VSO. Thanks for the beta 60067 to do clean install off. Issue resolved thank you.
And VSO Downloader is very good, even downloads some videos that its Chinese competitor cannot download.

Convertxtodvd still meets all my needs and runs bug free despite its age. Downloader 6 beta looks and performs quite well, even though only beta, so must be getting close to being ready for production. Be great if Convertxtovideo would be next to go 64bit, and with a few modern functions added to it...

Thanks. When I do the clean reinstall, I always start with version 60052 (as this is all I have) and then it updates to current version.
I'm not aware of anywhere where I can download a more recent beta

rexxon - sounds like licence confused after you used app on a different new computer/ too many computers. Maybe contact vso support for resolution, the vso computer id is usually only linked to/ only authorises one computer. Unless you uninstall which includes vso prompt to remove licence from that ...

Usually only Gold VSO Members get the next version at no extra cost, but I have not seen any pricing details yet

I successfully run both version 5 and beta 60055. No black issue.

For beta had to do clean install a couple of times

Also check which version you are using. Latest beta version 3.0.0.74 was released 2020-11-19 to fix crashes due to memory leak issues

I don't think 4k/ 2160p is supported

Initial download said "could not locate file", but this was after a windows security alert that I had to override.
I tried again after registering a different email address and it downloaded perfectly

version 3.0.0.74 19/11/20 fixed the memory leak bug (in version 3.0.0.73) that caused crashes

I use convertxtoHD3 for the higher resolutions, and use either bluray format on BD25 disks or avchd format on "cheap as chips" DVD5 disks

Since 2019 VSO call all updates beta, and are the best version to use

Just noticed you are not using latest beta version of the app 3.0.0.74, you seem to have 3.0.0.71 in your screen shot. Hope this resolves it as there was memory leak issue with one of the earlier versions, and this caused the issues you are experiencing.

On weekend I successfully did two disks, and they completed file, these were about 24 short HD videos and burnt AVCHD to DVD5. Same audio and subtitles as you used (the default ones). Version ConvertxtoHD 3.0.0.74
