That one is one of "clever" spammers, just posting normally and using signature with links.
Sig is now removed so lets see what he does.

Re: 7.0.0.67 error message preview screen

That one looks correct. I have seen some where they deliberately leave last sentence (usually advertizing) to be displayed until end of file.
Really odd problem, does it show the same way if you play converted disc in computer?

Re: 7.0.0.67 error message preview screen

Can you paste that last dialogue here?
Anything in that file after second last dialogue, like this:

Code: Select all

1603
02:01:07,137 --> 02:01:10,140
<i>? I won't go

Last line of any multi-line text, if there is only one line it is ok?

Or are you referring to actual last spoken dialogue, at end of file so that is last subtitles shown in movie?

Re: Created DVD much much smaller than original MKV file

You got it! ;) Some programs advertize "HD" when they really are DVD. Some are just bogus, some use the confusing descriptions of standards: HDTV 720p 1280×720 progressive scan: 923,600 pixels (~0.92 MP) per frame 1080i 1920×1080 interlaced: 1,036,800 pixels (~1.04 MP) per field or 2,073,600 pixels ...

Re: Created DVD much much smaller than original MKV file

In menu there is "open log file" and "open log folder". Anyway; your original is at least FullHD (1920x1080) and you are converting to DVD (720x576PAL or 720x480NTSC) so your actual amount of pixels is being reduced to roughly a quarter of original. That would mean a bit less than 4Gb in full DVD. S...

Hard to say, but simply knowing that DVD9 holds max 8.5Gb, your original file is in FullHD or better quality.

Re: First few seconds of video files missing

Check details on encoding on those files that cause problems, compare with those that have no problems.
I have encountered some files that have different length on audio and video, some start audio few seconds after video etc.

I used files that were available and had different bitrates, 10bit and x265.
Now I'm acquiring some movies that are in that format and test again.

Re: Using latest beta virtual memory still maxes out

As promised, conversion with 10bit x265 files. 11 files with different sizes, conversion finished without problems. ConvertXtoHD is doing its job just fine. Your log shows a lot of pausing due lack of memory so there is something causing it. Finding out what is not that easy, it can be anything like...

Re: Using latest beta virtual memory still maxes out

I did conversion with 8 episodes. Conversion succeeded, I did get in log few warnings of memory low like your log, but I just let it go on and it continued those and finished conversion. So program is working. Sure there might be some formats that present problems, some might even fail, but that is ...

Re: return to meniu

That is not a bug, that is DVD behavior.
There is no random generator on burned disc so either you play all or you play one.
If you want to continue from any point to end, convert several songs to one track, each song being a chapter.

And I forgot to add, I'm doing a TV series conversion, multiple files at once. You did a test with one movie. Re: Using latest beta virtual memory still maxes out

Just to test this, I converted a movie without problems. Total memory usage went almost to 10Gb out of my 32Gb. Page file (virtual memory) was 5Gb, during conversion it was utilized up to 4%. I was using my system all the time for some games and browsing. Here is log of conversion, FullHD movie to B...

Re: Using latest beta virtual memory still maxes out

Virtual memory is not real memory. Check this link: https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-pagefile-in-windows-10.2496510/ Set your virtual memory (paged file) to fast HD, try with same amount that you have real RAM. Check that page file is not on same drive as conversion t...

Re: ConvertXtoHD : the maximum number of inserted videos ?

That should be depending on output.
DVD can have maximum 99 tracks, each track 99 chapters, that is limited by two-digit counter.
BR has 5 digits so most likely you can't put too many.
