Re: Feature Request
Sure! I change the number of number of cores used for encoding/decoding and the number of simulateous conversions, depending on whether I am making a DVD, a BR, or converting to MP4. This is because the BR & MP4 use my graphic card's cores, but I find the work actually goes quicker if I only use...

Feature Request
I often find I have to change some General Setting between projects. It would be a real time saver if I could save and load Settings. If this wouldn't be a hard feature to add, that would be great!

I second Cherryman's request. Volume control would be outstanding in the editor window.

Will any of the new features in ConvertXtoDVD6
be brought into the new version of ConvertXtoVideo? Specifically, the menu editor? That would be SO awesome!

Re: Question about NVidia cards and CUDA and NVEnc settings
Alrighty then. Thank you very much, sir, for that enlightening reply. Are AMD cards able to throw more resources at a job, so that more conversions can happen simulanteously?

Re: MP4s to Blu-Ray
Sorry to take so long to reply. Have been busy with another project that didn't involve Blu-Ray. Anyway, here is a log file. I haven't tried it with b45 yet, but this is with b44. It says it can't do Hardware (remember, I have a Nvidia 970), and asks if I want to disable hardware, I say yes, it trie...

Re: MP4s to Blu-Ray
I have updated to the most recent beta (44) and this behavior still exists. Also, gotta say I'm a little disappointed that there's not been a single response to this post. Not even to say, "What a stupid question!" if it is one.

MP4s to Blu-Ray
If this is a stupid question, feel free to let me know. I am trying to convert multiple MP4 videos into a Blu-Ray video disc. I have a Nvidia 970 graphics card. It works fine if I only select 2 files. But if I select three, although the quality meter says I'm fine, I get an error that the font is to...

Re: Latest ConvertXtoVideo beta version - 1.6.0.26
Windows 10 Home. Version 1.6.0.26. I have halt on error turned on. New beta stops during menu rendering for DVD creation every time saying there was an error. Log file says the conversion was stopped due to an error, but no error is specifically listed. Reinstalled .25, built DVD using exact same fi...

Re: Encoding Mode: CPU??
Oh, man, is this a slap in the face. :( So you're telling me that the only time that the program will use my CUDA cores is if/when I have it convert files to MP4? Or am I misunderstanding what you are saying?

Encoding Mode: CPU??
Why, when I have a Nvidia 970, and my settings are set to use Hardware Encoding is ON, does the processing bar still say "Encoding mode: CPU (Software), and my CPU become saturated when converting videos into a DVD?

Question about NVidia cards and CUDA and NVEnc settings
I have a NVidia 970 graphics card, which according to it's spec has 1664 CUDA cores. Yet in the hardware Optimizations, the Maximum Max instances I can set is only 16. If I set any higher number, it just falls back to 16. The same is grue NVenc. Under conversion settings, there are "number of u...

Re: File locking issue returns in latest beta (11b)
Reinstalled 11b, to see if that was the issue. Problem still exists. Create a project, select files, burn. Select all files in project and press Remove Selection. Select files in Window Explorer. Hit delete. Files cannot be deleted. Program must be closed before files can be deleted.

File locking issue returns in latest beta (11b)
When building a project from individual files, upon completion and removing files from project, you still cannot delete them, as Converted has a lock on them. This problem was fixed in previous beta and didn't exist in last stable build (10).

New Issue with 1.5.0.4
When building an DVD from individual files, after the job is complete and you select all the individual files and you press the "Remove Selection" button, they are removed, but the program still has a lock on that individual file, as you cannot delete it. In previous version, once it was r...

I re-downloaded and reinstalled 1.5.0.0, and that did indeed fix the .mpg problem.

1.5.0.0 Issues
I am sorry to see that Load and Save Projects is gone. That was very useful. And for some reason, the load files requester no longer recognized .mpg files. I can drag and drop them into the project, but the Add Files/Load Files/Browse doesn't recognize .mpg in any selection.
