Some NVidia drivers did cause problems, is this related to that issue?

Same way as you play any DVD structure, open converted folder, open video_ts folder, then double-click on video_ts.ifo

Re: access violation

Conversion log might help. Anyway, best option is to use VSOClean to remove program, then re-install. "List out of bounds -1" error is usually due problem in registry. Then, even if you uninstall Nero it does NOT uninstall all files and hooks it has inserted, cleaning after Nero installati...

Re: DivX software playback problems

Problem is not so simple.
Avi does not fully support h264, and DivX does not support higher than 720p resolution.
That is why most releases are now in mkv.

There are numerous sources that claim "h264 in avi is problem and may break at anytime".

Re: DivX software playback problems

I installed DivX Plus player and it refuses to play AC3 without additional codecs.
I have AC3 codecs, and any other software can play those files with no problem.

If sound is issue on your system and only with DivX Plus player, then check which codecs it is using and go to those codec settings.

Re: Unable to load new project when started from a folder

This is really baffling; I tried what you did in your video, only difference that my folder names do not contain any special characters. I can not reproduce this. If I opened same folder twice then it got renamed, _1 added to end. Then opening same or any other folder simply did as it should, opened...

Re: Unable to load new project when started from a folder

I have tried and tried with Windows 7 64-bit Premium and can not reproduce. Then I did tests with Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate, can not reproduce. Something is really odd; you are only one getting this. Can you test once more in clean system (no DVD converter installed), download new copy from VSO, ins...

Re: Unable to load new project when started from a folder

Sorry, just can not reproduce your problem. Loading and reloading works perfectly. It seems that there is something wrong with your system, something is preventing change or messing your system. Do full checkup - check discs for errors, repair errors; check for trojans/viruses; check disc for fragme...

Re: Unable to load new project when started from a folder

One thing you can try: change name of that folder, remove all non-standard characters and try again.

Which option do you mean? Selectable: Subtitles - full Subtitles - only in some areas Non selectable: Subtitles burned to movie One issue that many do not notice is Closed Caption-type. That subtitle type is not available on HD (HD or BluRay) at all, and it can be optional or forced in NTSC dvd. It ...

Re: scale to 16:9 tv

If files are in higher resolution that DVD then it looks better always played in native format. If your system can handle big resolutions then yes, they should be upscaled, and usually upscaling is not noticeable. For lower resolution files it does not matter, convert to DVD. And of course if you DV...

Re: scale to 16:9 tv

JoeB: with FullHD TV you set TV to FullHD resolution and then use VSOplayer to show files in 1920x1080.
DVD is only 720x480/576..

Re: scale to 16:9 tv

That GFX card supports two different displays. Go to GFX settings and change it to use 2 separate displays, second as addition to desktop. Then adjust resolution of second display to 1920x1080. To make it easier to use, adjust position of screens so that TV is in correct place relating to monitor, s...

Re: scale to 16:9 tv

That TV is FullHD.
If you set your computer correctly it will use FullHD (1920x1080) resolution when using that TV.
That resolution is 16:9, no special modes required.

However; if your computer is not set to send FullHD then you have problems.

It does not matter what your settings are.
I'm talking about your computer. Is it set for 5.1 mode but only 2 speakers connected?
