Could it be your operating system? as the screenshot says windows 7. Microsoft support for win7 ended nearly 7 years ago, on January 13, 2015.

Re: Eject Disc after burning not working
For a quick work around until cause of problem discovered, when I had issue of wrong speed, I did not put blank disk in until prompted, then in the count down could change burn speed to what I wanted. In my case fixed it by using a newer burner

Re: Critical Working Folder Cannot be Accessed or is Not Writable
Download latest version, do install, and on about 3rd screen in is an option to do clean install. The install will use your existing license, you do not have to enter any license details.

Must be a false positive from the app you use. Windows Security does not report it.

As well as the points dbminter suggested. Just to problem solve and resolve this. Just a little more info please. What is the frequency of the problem? Have you done a clean reinstall of the app? Have you tried using the vso burning engine? Also when I have issues with problem outputs, I always use ...

Yes agree. But good to check that all setting are all correct, and program is not corrupt, then yes a bad input file.
I only ever see this message when I ask too much of the app / too big to convert

Yes something wrong for such a small file. Maybe do a "clean" reinstall, this is an option on about on the 3rd page into the installation

Re: Why So Slow
For me it depends on the PC s hardware, if I use an old Core2 Duo to convert say 3 videos totaling 5 hours of content to a DVD5 disk, can take 6 hours. On my newer i9 with 3080 video card, the time drops to around 1 hour. And this is using max quality options.
For me the conversion time is very good

Re: resolution
From my understanding the industry dvd standards for resolution are 720×480 pixels for NTSC, and 720×576 pixels for PAL.
I use VSO ConvertxtoHD 3, for the higher resolutions and either burn to Blu-Ray disks or AVCHD to DVD5 disks

Merging 3 short videos into one video always gives error messages, program will not close cleanly
Merging 3 short videos (with identical resolutions) into one video always gives error messages when trying to close program. The three files merge ok into one file. Just the program will not close.
Any ideas please?
