Re: burning incorrect dvd structure - WORKAROUND
Background: Current versions of CX2Video, CX2DVD and BRC incorrectly include the folder that is ABOVE VIDEO-TS and AUDIO-TS. When you insert a disc burned with that folder, your player sees that as a Data disc with folders under it. The VIDEO-TS and AUDIO-TS folders (actually the Audio folder is not...

Re: burning incorrect dvd structure
Just installed latest beta .78 Using Pal Auto profile convertx encoded three mkv's to a dvd The resultant dvd would not play in my ps4 and i checked it in a pc and discovered that convertx had put the video-ts and audio ts folders inside a folder called Pal Auto. I also noticed that two of the vobs...

Re: Add ability to invert selection in Advanced Edit
Thank you so much for adding the feature/button to Invert cut selections to CX2Video and BRC.
Why did you not add the same Invert feature to CX2DVD?

Burn from DVD folder - Name is truncated in Burn Engine Dial
CX2DVD (and possibly other programs - truncate title.jpg I know I've been helping you fine tune various things in your wonderful programs, the ones I use. When I selected the very DVD folder that was created from my MKV, its file name was correct - thank you. However, when I then decided to create ...

Burn to ISO file name
Suggest that the default file name in the text box when you choose to create an .iso be the name of the folder name you drilled into for the .ifo. That should be an easy one and logical too! If you do make the change to BRC do same for all other applications that you offer burn to .iso.

Re: Burn from DVD folder - accept upper level folder
I finally encountered precisely WHEN I need to drill into a DVD folder and select VIDEO_TS.IFO. It is when I click Action, then Burn An Already Converted Project. FYI: 99% of the time I opt to create an ISO from the DVD folder but that does not matter. I would like/expect/hope that the the program ...

Add ability to invert selection in Advanced Edit
I realize selections define CUT portions. Please add the ability to invert selection such that selections become the desired portion. At times, it is more natural to identify what to keep than what you don't want. Good example is when you select one portion in the middle of the video, which is done ...

Re: Burn from DVD folder - accept upper level folder
You don't need to, just drag & drop the folder containing the DVD and the program will load what it needs. Felicia, I finally encountered precisely WHEN I need to drill into a DVD folder and select VIDEO_TS.IFO. It is when I click Action, then Burn An Already Converted Project. FYI: 99% of the ...

Re: Output video file name always lower case
Hello Ira, I can't reproduce this problem, maybe you can post a screenshot of the source in your Windows folder, and what happens when you drag and drop into ConvertXtoVideo. I presume you do no renaming? And can you post a screenshot of the output folder? Claire, Yes, I drag and drop media into yo...

Burn from DVD folder - accept upper level folder
I should not need to drill into the VIDEO_TS folder and select file: VIDEO_TS.IFO when adding a DVD source folder on HD. Accept the upper level DVD folder and do the drill down to the .ifo in the program. And per a prior new post, do not change case of letters in the words when using folder name. ch...

Output video file name always lower case
This applies to CXTV and possibly CX2DVD. When importing a DVD folder, do not change the case of the words to ALL lower case. Keep them as they were named on the DVD folder: Example; DVD Folder Name is My Wonderful Video . When imported, C22V changes all words to lower case. The output file name bec...

Re: DTSHDSpOut.txt?
I suppose it is NOT created by CxD. Googling that file shows a lot of different malware products doing complete search, usually related to trojans. Most of them are quite old so any current antivirus/antimalware should detect what ever saved that file. Check your system completely! Thanks. I'm cert...

Sound Events do not always play

DTSHDSpOut.txt?
Guessing that file:DTSHDSpOut.txt (was empty - zero bytes) is created by VSO CX2DVD. If so, a) why is it saved to C Root and b) why is not deleted? I deleted it.

Re: ConvertXtoVideo - latest beta version 2.0.0.69
I had Released .68 installed. I learned of the .69b version available. Why when I opened .68 I was not prompted to update? Why when I clicked Check For Updates it did not report .69b? I think I've noticed this at times with some prior updates. Might it be that I had a RELEASED version installed and ...
