Re: Full 1080p with black bars
Hello cribber, What Cedric is trying to say is basically, you trying trying to convert 1920x800 to 1920x1080 will be the same exact resolution as before. The only difference is that it will now say 1920x1080, and players will add "black bars" to compensate for the height. Since the width o...

Re: Help and advice.
Hello DavidNK,
If your source is already of poor quality, there is nothing you can do -- no re-encoding can fix it, it'll only make it worse. Your best 2 options are to either: 1) "re-record" it or find a better source, or 2) remux the video.

Hello cribber, I assure you that I am no troll. I'm just here to help both sides, you (the customer) and VSO (in this case, Cedric), clarify issues with you (the customer) following a few steps to eliminate most common problems. The ultimate goal is to find out where the problem(s) may lay, and in o...

Hello cribber,
Cedric is/has been asking for your conversion log to further help your situation. Please provide him that. A log from the latest beta and a log from the latest version that worked for you would help him a lot to figure out what changed.

Hello Coral,
VSO Media Player uses the same codecs as VSO's other software, so maybe you're having a similar issue as this: http://forums.vso-software.fr/mkv-subti ... 18109.html. Try following JJ's idea.

Hello Ghost_Of_Dos,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but JetAudio is an outdated software, and I believe isn't getting any more updates. Try playing your video files with VLC Media Player and see if it crashes.

Re: Conversion error from Blue Ray to MKV file
Hello Wizardco1,
Can you run 3 tests for me, please? 1st test, remux only the video. 2nd test, remux the video and audio. 3rd test, remux the video and 1 subtitle.
I have a feeling it is either the audio or the subtitle that's causing that error.

Hello Wizardco1,
Can you try reorganizing/cleaning up the MKV file with MKVToolnix before converting? Also, can you provide the MediaInfo log for your MKV file.

Hello Coral,
Have you tried reorganizing/cleaning the MKV file with MKVToolnix/MKVmerge? If not, it's a great tool to do so, and it may also get rid of many errors since many programs don't update their MKV requirements.

Hello JJ,
I'm pretty sure he meant his MKV file is from a Blu-ray source, as DTS-MA is only supported on Blu-ray. It supports up to 7.1 channels. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DTS-HD_Master_Audio

Hello Darkbeat,
DVD Converter uses its own internal codecs. External codecs, such as the one you're talking about, do not in any way affect the program nor can they be utilized by it.

Hello Diesel67,
You have to post the actual log file. It's a '.txt' file. Instructions on how to do that as well as for a fresh/clean install are found here: http://forums.vso-software.fr/read-befo ... 16458.html.

In order to meet Super Video CD's requirements, you will have to adjust the project size, resolution, and audio (you would have to use the MPEG stereo). For more info regarding Super Video CD, read this: h...
