If you use the specifications for a gaming computer from say 2019, you will get excellent results and at a good price.

Re: Conversion canceled by user
click on subtitle icon (next to audio), this brings up subtitle options window, then delete the subtitles you do not want. e.g. delete all other languages except for one English subtitle (if you want English subs). Or delete them all if do not want subtitles

Re: Please Reset - "Disabled Computer"
But maybe you are expecting too much from this software that is built for home use. On my vanilla Windows 10 install, that has none of the witchcraft that you do, all the apps register OK and run fine.

The only "portable" versions I have seen are old version 6 and early 7, and all were pirated cracked versions, not legitimate versions

x265 support
I have converted a few videos lately that some chapters fail to read when playing on dvd player.
Has anybody had any issues converting X265 that are either very slow to convert or with DVDs that are failing?

Re: XP support for new purchaser
The answer on version no. is above, please see "by Rexxon » Mon Jun 08, 2020 7:06 pm" 21/4/17 is the digital signature on that version, so way too old to work effectively on YouTube and similar sites. Maybe you could try an XP Support Forum to continue your research on what you can do with...

Re: XP support for new purchaser
If you use your current Windows 10 Core 3 HP laptop for downloads, and then you can safely buy vso downloader and know it will cover present and future needs.
And you still use your old XP machine for your old apps. And even boot to DOS 6.22 for your really really old apps

Re: XP support for new purchaser
I don't think you should bother with this. An old version of vso downloader or any similar apps, old versions just will not work with YouTube and most other sites, as they continuously update their sites to block any downloads. Suggest try Windows 10 instead of XP, it runs ok on my very old laptop w...

Re: XP support
Very commendable that VSO supported XP for so long.
Especially when you consider that Microsoft Windows XP is 19 years old. And Microsoft ended support for it on April 9, 2019.

Re: XP support for new purchaser
Sorry I do not know the answer.
Microsoft Windows XP lived for 18 years. Microsoft ended support for it on April 9, 2019.
Not bad for an operating system.

VSO Support for XP is very generous. I was reading Windows XP started in 2002 and Microsoft support for it ended April 8, 2014.
