Re: Video downloads without audio

No problems, got it as "videoplayback.mp4", downloaded in about 20 seconds and works like a charm!
File is 18,5MB, 422*480pixels and total time 2 minutes 6 seconds.

Of course you should always verify results before deleting source.
Still I wonder about your problem, logs might reveal something.

Re: Video downloads without audio

Your example video has nice little kitten making noise - audio works just fine and download came in few seconds.

Something else is wrong with your setup.

Re: Video downloads without audio

I have no problems downloading with audio, some Youtube videos are protected so that they record "live" but I still get audio.
What files you have problems with?

If you download from VSO website then there is no problem.
Any other link or site might have anything in their files.

Those pictures are not same frame, comparison is useless.
You need to have exactly same frame to compare.

Re: Couple of questions for new user

There is no real need to create ISO.
All you need is folder containing VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders.
That is exactly what is inside DVD or ISO.

Re: Latest VMP Build 1.3.6.464

Nobody says that you are crazy, just need to be sure that everything is correct before reporting. I just did fresh install of VMP. After install I got no sound, but when I selected that audio track that was there below that "disable" it started playing audio. That setting stayed even after...

Re: Latest VMP Build 1.3.6.464

what might cause your program to start in "Audio disable" mode?
Is windows having audio on?
Do you have external audio system that you turn on or connect when watching movies?

Youtube is changing videos to encrypted and new protocol, that is why this is happening now.
Try that same file with old version to be sure.

Re: VSO not downloading BBC local radio programmes

It's just a shame that I have to leave it playing in real time rather than just quickly download it.
Call BBC and ask them to change their policies.
If they are not giving full file there is no way to download it faster, only what they are feeding.

Re: Chinavia Protected Blu-Ray Discs

Just playing mkv in PS3 will catch Cinavia if PS3 is updated.
Most likely any new player that supports playing different fileformats also has Cinavia.
Best bet is to use old player - but those usually do not support new formats.

Re: Chinavia Protected Blu-Ray Discs

Cinavia has been coming for some time, but so far only ones really applying it has been Sony and Apple. Removing it is almost impossible according to its own specs - they claim it will "survive" even analog recording and conversion to digital and all current lossy compression formats. I su...

One thing to remember; MKV is container, not fileformat.
You need to ensure that all files inside MKV are in correct format for your player.

No.
You can burn data to several disks, but you can't do that with video.
There is no DVD player that could play "continuous" disks.

Oxdeadbeef: that is your opinion and you have every right to express your opinion. Just don't try to impose it as absolute truth because it is not. I have also used TMPGEnc for some time before I found CxD. When I noticed that CxD produces same or even better quality with smaller filesize, it was ea...
