I think I've discovered a bug in 7.0.0.77. The Visual interface option Minimize to system tray appears to do nothing. I tried it both set and unset, each time closing and reopening CXD. Regardless of the setting, CXD when minimized minimizes to the Notification tray only.

Another seemingly related bug. After conversion, the CXD main window minimizes to the lower left corner. ALT+TAB into CXD brings the window back into focus, BUT you CANNOT minimize the window again. You CAN close the window, though.

Yeah, when I installed the gold .75 release, conversion was fine and everything worked as it had before.

Oh, never mind. I see a gold final release of 7.0.0.75 was posted on VSO's CXD web page. I've installed it and it seems to be okay. I'm exporting that 54 minute input file now, but I don't foresee a problem with conversion. Will report back if there is, of course. :)

Also, when I tried the trial of .75, adding a title set IMMEDIATELY starts conversion of VIDEO_TS output. This should NOT happen. Plus, conversion of a 50 minute input takes only 2 minutes. Should take longer than that. And the reason it only took 2 minutes was out of 54 minutes of listed input run ...

Nope. Still doesn't work. Wants to install in trial mode and create VIDEO_TS with watermark. Although all I did was run the same installer again I had run before over my old 7.0.0.69.

So, it appears to have been a bug in .75. I had wondered why it was saying that, since 7.0.0.73 Beta let me install it and use it without saying it was in trial mode and would create watermarked output.

It seems there's a new CXD beta: 7.0.0.75. I tried to install it, but it said it would only run in a trial mode and create video with a watermark. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled 7.0.0.69 back. The latest gold release of Version 7 does not properly convert VRO files. As to the OP's second issue, changing the output destination, do you mean if you change the setting in Default Settings --> Global Settings --> General --> Working Folder, your VIDEO_TS is not saved to that folder?

I am guessing from the log provided that your problem is the burns don't complete when the output in written to the disc? As was stated, try using Verbatim medium. And, as was said, get the AZO media. NOT the Life Series you find in brick and mortar stores as those are CMC, which are actually worse ...

This is sort of a bug, but more of, most likely, unexpected behavior that wasn't predicted for. If you save a Project file to an existing file that is read only, e.g. it's got the +R Attribute set to it, CXD will not save the Project, of course, because the target file is set to read only. However, ...

This probably doesn't affect preview playback, but I know in the past, enabling Two Pass Encoding resulted in the first 10 seconds of the output being replaced with a solid green screen and no audio. Just to see if it helps, do you have Two Pass Encoding enabled? Try disabling it if you do.

I had the last beta release of CXD installed, 7.0.0.73. When I opened it up today, it said a new update was available, but that update was listed as "7.0.0.69." I went ahead and downloaded and installed this new updated "7.0.0.69," but is it actually more up to date than 7.0.0.73...
