Re: Request : Saved File Name

Hello,

could you provide me the log of that file ?
Detect the media, and when downloading, right click on it and 'view log file', then 'open log file', save it and attach it to your message.

Thanks

Re: Audio Static

Hello Ed and welcome,

could you provide the URL of the website where you're experiencing this problem so we can test?
Also, what software do you use to play your videos?

Re: Request : Saved File Name

Hello, the link you posted is a RSS, there's no media detection with it. You need to post the URL where media got detected. It seems you detected a playlist - or many videos in a row - and I couldn't figure out how did you do that. I tested the renaming with some of the videos hosted on the site and...

Re: Socket error: Aborted (3)

The problem here is you clicked on File > New > Download, but this is a direct download feature. So if you enter a URL, it will not download it because it does not end with an extension. We are working on a clearer interface so that there is no more confusion about this. A new version is on its way....

Re: Support for subtitles

Hello chrisb22,

VSO Downloader will capture subtitles if they are embedded in video, SRT files will not be retrieved as they are not video files.

Re: Socket error: Aborted (3)

Hello Etdashou and welcome to the forum, I have no problem downloading this video. What version do you have? And have you changed any download settings (threads, buffer size...) ? Maybe your log file will help. Please right click on your video in VSO Downloader, and select "view log", then...

Re: hulu.com and nbc.com will it be supported

Hello jmanwf,

These sites are using RTMP protocol for streaming video, which is not yet supported by VSO Downloader. But stay tuned, we plan to support it in the next future.

Re: Adobe Flashplayer

Hello,

This is an RTMPE video. Basically, it means the video is encrypted (contrary to HTTP videos). Currently VSO Downloader can't retrieve any RTMP media but we plan to support it in the future.
And to my knowledge, all ads are HTTP videos, that's why you detect them.
