Thanks for the report! After a few tries, it opens a folder if ISO output. If DVD folder and disk not ejected, it plays the result. If disk ejected (I've reported the bug: https://bugs.vso-software.fr/view.php?id=13807) it tries to play the result.
VSO Downloader does support most of the 4K videos! (try this one for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXb3EKWsInQ) The only potential issue would be with AV-1, it could work but might not...

Either go back to one of the two versions I gave you before, or renew for another year, or purchase a lifetime license with lifetime updates so your key will never be too old again!
